Apple of Our Eye is a YouTube series within The Slender Man Mythos chronicling a group of high schoolers and their run-ins with Slendy.

Isaac A. Morrow, the protagonist, buys an old but inexpensive video camera online. He begins filming the group's adventures and misadventures. The cast is large, comprising Isaac, Steve, Shane, Jon, Zoey, Rory, Tiffany, and Jeremy.

The YouTube account, Apple of Our Eye started as what appears to be a random account for the aforementioned group of friends' antics. Five "episodes" into the series, when the group leaves the camera behind, an unnaturally tall, unnaturally thin and faceless suited man peers into the lens.

Tropes used in Apple of Our Eye include:
  • Alien Geometries:
    • Episode #10 comprises Isaac searching through the Orchard for any clue as to its curious existence. While there, the environment shifts and changes with every turn.
  • Foreshadowing: In the first episode, no slenderbusiness occurs, but near the end, the group walks past a storefront filled with mannequins dressed in all sorts of suits, including one exceptionally tall one.
    • "That mannequin's creepy as hell."
  • Genre Savvy: A rare occurrence, even in a Mythos as vast as this one, but one of the characters recognizes Slendy the instant he shows up. A bit of a change from the usual sequence of episodes of the characters going "What the heck is that thing?"
  • Oh Crap:
    • Ep. 5 has two moments of this.
      • The first is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment. Around 6:49 into the video, when their going down the slide, if you pause it and look into the corner, you'll see good ol' Slendy standing there.
      • And the ending.
  • Title Drop: Isaac sees a rotted apple on the ground in episode 10, and does this as a result.
  • Wham! Episode: Episode 5.
