Earthfelt

Earthfelt is a hand drawn webcomic on the Earthbound fansite Starmen.net, by ghostgirl21696, Started up in February 2010.

It takes place 80 years after the original game, the main characters now the great-grandchildren of Ness and Paula, thirteen-year old twins Nina and Terry Belsan. One night, after a meteor falls from the sky near the Belsan home, Nina is awakened to find her brother fighting a lamp. going outside, they find police, and Wylene, a spoiled rich friend of theirs, who tells them about it.

Later, Wylene come knocking at the door, crying, telling them her little brother Noah is missing. They go back out to help, and find him sleeping near the meteorite. Of course, what do you do next when a talking Pink Butterfly rises in shining light from a meteor?

This comic provides Examples of:

• Abhorrent Admirer: Wylene is pretty, but the rest of the trope applies directly to her obsessive love for Terry.
• Action Girl: Nina. At least, compared to her brother during boss battles.
  • Snake may have died, but she was equally matched to our PSI heroes, and was the eighteen-year-old leader of a criminal gang.
• Badass in Distress: Terry. Face it, he swings that baseball bat like a pro, but in the boss battles, he was captured by Snake with a knife held to his throat, He was the most injured in the battle against Neal, and he nearly drowned in the battle against the dark sea beast.
• Colonel Kilgore: Truck Van Sketch looks like a gruff general stereotype, runs a cult based on blood, kidnaps Paul, tries to kill Terry by shooting him with a deadly laser, then tries to dump Nina, Terry and Paul into a flooded basement with a creature made of darkness. Somehow, after all that, he cares about the fact he just tries to kill them and apologizes.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Paul.
• Heroic Albino: Paul, but he dyes his hair black.
• Here We Go Again: Basically, this is a retelling of Earthbound, but with elements from the other two games, plus the authors own ideas.
• Identical Grandson: Terry looks a lot like Ness, his GREAT Grandfather, and even wears Ness' old hat...
  • Noah could also apply, since he looks like Picky, but it is unknown whether the two are related.
• Only Six Faces: Seriously, everyone has more or less the same face.
• Rich Bitch: Wylene. She wanted to mine the meteor, her clothes are extravagant, she learns dark magic and actually KILLS someone with it, possibly helped in Paul's kidnapping, and is helping resurrect Giygas. Since this comic is only on Threed, she may do WORSE.
• Sibling Team: Nina and Terry.
• Two Guys and a Girl: Nina, Terry, and Paul, despite only just meeting Paul maybe a few days ago.
