Tropedia

  • Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. Failure to do so may result in deletion of contributions and blocks of users who refuse to learn to do so. Our policies can be reviewed here.
  • All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation.
  • All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.

  • Fake Nationality: Both Stanford and Tezz are voiced by Noel Johansen, who grew up in the U.S., but went to school in London for several years, then promptly moved to Canada. Stanford is British, and Tezz is Eastern European, possibly Serbian.
    • Lampshaded in the episode Spinning Out by Spinner, who tells Stanford that "it's weird how you lose your accent whenever you scream."
  • Hey, It's That Voice!: The voice acting is provided by several well-known actors from The Ocean Group. More than one name is bound to be recognized.
  • The Other Darrin: Vert Wheeler is voiced by Mark Hildreth rather than Andrew Francis as he was in Highway 35 and Acceleracers. Although as this version of Vert (and the show in general) seems to have no connection to Highway 35 and Acceleracers anyway, it may not really count.
  • Short Run in Peru: The (most likely Series Finale) movie has already aired twice in Latin America (at the time of this writing), but there haven't been any signs on its native country.
    • Note: This page is the only place on the internet this troper has been able to find such a rumor. A)When was this posted? B) Seriously, they didn't even air it in Canada? C)Is there a fandub available?
    • Update May 2012: Upon Google-translating the comments of many Spanish speaking fans on the show's Facebook page, most do seem to be mentioning a movie, Krytus being freed, and an unnamed Red Sentient who may be a princess. As of this writing, televised advertisement for Battle Force 5 toys and games seems to have ceased in the United States and Cartoon Network no longer reruns the show.
  • Talking to Himself: Hoo, boy. Nearly everyone pulls multiple duty on the show; this was bound to happen at some points.
    • Noel Johansen - Stanford and Tezz.
    • Mark Hildreth - Vert, Praxion and Kyrosys.
    • Michael Dobson - Zemerik, A.J. and Kytren.
    • Colin Murdock - Kalus, Sever and Krylox.
    • Kathleen Barr - Agura, Hatch and Kyburi.
    • Brian Drummond - Sherman, Krocomodo, Zug and Krytus.
